The original Sanger, the first flatbottom crafted by Jack Davidson. It was a glass over wood boat with an unusual motor combination. It had a Chrysler engine with a Potvin crank-driven blower and a 2-port Hilborn fuel injection system. This low profile combination gave it a very different look, with only the magneto and a short portion of the zoomies protruding about the cowl line. The cav plate was operated by a cable thru the the block you can see in the center of the transom. When Rudy Ramos went 100 at Kingsberg in 1959, as the first fiberglass boat to break 100, the Mist went 110. It set the world record at 115.68 in late 1959.
