Biesemeyer

Biesemeyer is almost synonymous with circle racing flatbottoms. Most of the hulls that compete in these classes are known as "B-boats" after the Biesemeyer design.

Biesemeyer was started in 1958 by Rusty Biesemeyer, manufacturing runabouts and 4-point hydros. Julian Pettengill got involved later and eventually bought out the rights to Biesemeyer name, building them under the name Arizona Ski Boats. It was later taken over/sold to Norm Brown in the 80s, and then the molds were sold to Steele Marine. R.B. Boats got involved somewhere along the line.
