Brendella Custom Boats

Irv Brendel started Brendella boats in the late 1950s, building flat bottom ski boats. Irv started Brendella Custom Boats after he divorced Peggy Brendel. It was originally opened in Fresno but ended up in Merced, CA, off of 16th and Highway 99.

Diamond Custom Boats

SK hull, Drag Hull, 21 Cruiser v hull

Diamond boats were made in Carter Lake, Iowa by a man named Fred. The ski hull is a copy of a '69 Rayson craft. Fred made 3 hull types, day cruiser, ski, and a racing LP.

Connolly Marine

Connolly Boats started in business in 1976 and manufactured boats until 1987. They produced an 18" runner bottom flat bottom, 21' day cruiser and a 25' day cruiser.

Connolly Marine has opened back up in 2013 and is manufacturing the Connolly 21' Day Cruiser along with manufacturing and distributing a complete line of V-Drive hardware

Interiors by Jack

Interiors by Jack did a large number of tuck and roll upholstery jobs for classic inboard boats. They were located at 13516 Lakewood Blvd, Bellflower, CA in October 1965.

Glenwood

Glenwood was primarily a marine equipment supplier, but built both boat kits and pre-constructed hulls, starting at least in the early 50s. Herb's Welding Ltd.

The company was based in Peace River, Alberta. They built about 7 or 8 Legend hulls. Most were raced. The company is no longer in business as the original owner has passed on, and his son has retired.
