D&D Marine

D&D Marine were two guys from Burbank CA, Eddie Drugman and Art Dufault, who in the late 1960's and early 1970's fabricated and built custom wood decks for Irv Brendel/Hondo Boats. They built a flatbottom mold in the late 1960's/early 1970's that was highly influenced by the Hondo flatbottom design at the time. It was alleged that the last 43 inches of their boat was a direct splash of the Hondo flatbottom and everything forward of that was their design. The D&D hull was a little pointer in the bow than the Hondo and two inches shorter in length (D&D 17 ' 8 " vrs Hondo 17 ' 10 ").
