Donzi made 134 of these from 1968 through 1979. 99 are known to exist as of 2014.

Taylor 21' Bikini Model

The Taylor 21' Bikini was originally a splash from the Campbell. The bottom was modified to have more angle to the V. It is a large, heavy, well-built boat. It was available in V-drive, jet drive and stern drive configurations.

Pioneer 19' Jet Model

The boat was 18' 11" at the centerline with an 80" beam. Steve Hall purchased an 18' Southwind to use as a plug, extended it by a foot, reworked the bottom and the upper deck before building the mold. Lake Nacimiento was the primary testing area.

Pioneer Boats Manufacturer

Pioneer Boats was founded in Paso Robles, California by Steve Hall and made primarily jet boats. It was based at one time at 8120 El Camino Real, Atascadero, California. Pioneer (in Atascadero) went out of business in the mid eighties. The Pioneer molds and name were sold to a guy in northern California who continued to build boats for a few more years. It was registered for business on Friday, June 27, 1975 and was officially out of business on Thursday, October 18, 1990.

229 Country Cookin Boat

Factory boat run by Steve Hall in Comp Jet. Engine built by Tim McCutcheon. The boat raced at the first NDBA race at Firebird in 1978. Greg Shoemaker held the record at 102 mph at the time. It set the new record at 108.28 at the NDBA Nationals in Oct of 1978.
